We’re happy to accept donations of clean, used furniture and household items free of mildew, smoke, & pet damage. Unfortunately we can’t accept bed frames, headboards, used mattresses and box springs, futons, rugs, large china hutches, TV armoires/Entertainment Centers, older-style televisions, space heaters, exercise or medical equipment, sheets, bed pillows, and children's items which include: stuffed animals, cribs, changing tables, strollers, car seats, playpens, baby bottles, etc.

We accept donations during open hours. Please email fx@mit.edu first to get approval for the items you want to donate. Please note: MIT FX staff and volunteers can not help move items into and out of the FX warehouse. For large items, please bring help.

All donations are tax deductible. Let us know if you’d like a receipt.
